I first heard about the Granville Post Office from my friend in high school who worked there when I was in college. I can’t even remember what he was talking about. They have an art gallery and an antique store so I thought I would check them out. They had a lot of cool stuff that I knew I would love. It was a little over 3 miles from my home so it was a lot of driving.

The post office’s current state is a terrible example of the “post office is so busy it takes forever to get it to the mailbox”? That statement should be made in reference to our current state. If it were true, I would have no need for a physical post office.

I know we all hate to be mean, but it is actually true. Our physical mailboxes are extremely crowded, and the post office is even more so. The post office is completely designed to be a “sales” post office, and they are incredibly busy. There are so many of these post offices that it takes forever to get a letter to the mailbox that I feel we need a physical post office in order to improve their efficiency.
